Description The SMTP for Amazon SES – YaySMTP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.7.1, update to a version higher than 1.7.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the email logs feature to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved.
