VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential issue in the Linux kernel has been identified, related to the soc: qcom: rpmpd module. The problem arises from the possible failure of memory allocation using devm kcalloc, which could result in a NULL pointer dereference later on. This is because the allocated memory is automatically freed on driver detach, as indicated by the comment for devm kmalloc.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
