Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the fs/ntfs3 module. The problem occurs in the error handling path of the
log replay() function, where resources such as log, ra, and log->one page buf are not properly freed, leading to memory leaks. This issue is resolved by ensuring that all error handling paths free the necessary resources before returning.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
