Description A NULL pointer dereference issue in the smc pnet find ib() function has been resolved. The problem occurred because dev name() was called with dev.parent as an argument without a prior NULL check. This issue was addressed by adding a check for the pointer before calling dev name().
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
