CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been identified, specifically in the drm/panel component, related to the ili9341 module. The issue arises when the optional regulator lookup fails, and the pointer is not properly reset to NULL. This can lead to a situation where other functions, such as mipi dbi poweron reset conditional(), will dereference an error pointer, as they only perform a NULL pointer check.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
