Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the KVM: SVM component. The issue occurs when the
guest irq value from the KVM IRQFD API call is out-of-bounds, potentially triggering a crash in the svm update pi irte() function. This can lead to a panic and a crash of the system. The vulnerability is related to the handling of guest IRQs and can be exploited to cause a denial-of-service.Recommendations
