Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue was related to the
visconti clk register gates() function, where an array overflow could occur due to the use of -1 to represent the absence of a reset function. This value was stored in an unsigned 8-bit integer (u8), causing the condition if (clks[i].rs id >= 0) to always be true, leading to an out-of-bounds access.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
