Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A kernel oops issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the btmtksdio interrupt function. This issue occurs because the hdev->power on function is called before sdio set drvdata is properly set up, resulting in an uninitialized pointer being accessed. The problem arises from the fact that hci register dev runs queue work to complete the power-on sequence, which may cause hci power on to run before sdio set drvdata is done in btmtksdio probe. As a result, when btmtksdio interrupt is called and sdio set drvdata is not filled out, a kernel oops error occurs.
