CVE-2022-49202

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A issue in the Linux kernel's Bluetooth component, specifically in the hci uart module, has been identified. The problem arises from a missing NULL check in the h5 enqueue function, which can lead to a general protection fault when the pm runtime resume function is called. The variable hu->serdev can be NULL, and passing &serdev->dev without checking for NULL can cause this fault.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
