Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A refcount leak issue was found in the Linux kernel, specifically in the mips cdmm phys base function. The of find compatible node() function returns a node pointer with an incremented refcount, but the refcount is not released when done. This is resolved by adding the missing of node put() to release the refcount.
Recommendations
For the affected Linux kernel versions, add the missing of node put() call to the mips cdmm phys base function to release the refcount and fix the leak.
