VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A issue in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the ASoC: codecs: wcd934x component. The problem arises from a missing of node put() call in the wcd934x codec parse data function. This function uses of parse phandle(), which returns a device node pointer with an incremented refcount. To prevent a leaked reference, of node put() should be called when the pointer is no longer needed. This fix is similar to a previous commit that addressed a similar issue in the wcd9335 component.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
