Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue allowed for intermittent invocation of sysfs, such as state show(), before dev set drvdata() was completed, potentially causing a kernel Oops due to a null edev. The driver registration was modified to occur after setting driver data to prevent this issue.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
