Description A issue in the Linux kernel related to NFSv4 has been identified. The problem occurs when doing layoutget as part of the open() compound, where layout locks are not released before further RPC calls, such as setattr(), are made. This can lead to a potential deadlock if those calls trigger a recall.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
