CVE-2022-49396

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A issue in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the phy: qcom-qmp module. The problem occurs when there is a late probe error, such as probe deferral, and the lane reset controller is not properly released. This is due to the reset controller being defined in the devicetree in "lane" child nodes, which prevents the use of devm reset control get exclusive() directly.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
