Description A refcount leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the powerpc/xive component. The problem arises from the of find compatible node() function, which returns a node pointer with an incremented refcount. To prevent a refcount leak, it is necessary to use of node put() on the node pointer when it is no longer needed. The issue has been resolved by adding a missing of node put() call.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
