Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the denali driver in the mtd subsystem, specifically with the rawnand component. The problem occurs when the driver fails to properly manage device resources, leading to a timeout while waiting for an interrupt request (IRQ). This results in a page fault error and a BUG message indicating an inability to handle the page fault for a specific address. The error is caused by a supervisor write access in kernel mode, resulting in a not-present page error. The vulnerability is associated with the denali isr function and the iowrite32 function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
