Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the lpfc driver when CMF is enabled. The issue was observed during I/O operations and resulted in a call trace. The problem occurred because this cpu ptr() calls smp processor id() in a preemptible context. The fix involves using per cpu ptr() with raw smp processor id() instead.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
