Description
A vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the mm/mempolicy.c file. The issue arises when the
mpol set nodemask() function does not initialize the nodemask in the pol structure when pol->mode is set to MPOL LOCAL. This can lead to an uninit-value error in the mpol rebind policy() function. The vulnerability is triggered when the mode is set to MPOL PREFERRED and nodes empty(*nodes) is true, and flags is 0.
