CVE-2022-49646

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A issue in the Linux kernel's mac80211 module has been identified, specifically related to queue selection for mesh/OCB interfaces when using iTXQ. The code incorrectly assumes that there is only one vif queue for broadcast packets, using the BE queue. Allowing non-BE queue marking violates this assumption, potentially causing issues with queue handling in the driver and resulting in an AQL underflow warning.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
