Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A potential integer overflow issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the rdma/cxgb4 module. The issue arises from the
gl->tot len variable, which is user-controlled and comes from the process responses() function. On 32-bit systems, the addition of gl->tot len + sizeof(struct cpl pass accept req) + sizeof(struct rss header) could result in an integer wrapping bug. To prevent this, the size add() function is used.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
