Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue occurs when the SCM driver fails during the probe, leaving the global ' scm' variable assigned. This can cause external users of the driver to assume the probe finished successfully, potentially leading to a NULL pointer exception. The problem is triggered by introducing probe deferral in the SCM driver.
