CVE-2025-21743

CVSS v3.1

7.1

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential overflow issue in the DPE length check was identified, which could lead to an out-of-bounds (OoB) read. The issue occurred when wDatagramIndex + wDatagramLength exceeded U16 MAX. To resolve this, the wDatagramIndex term was moved to the other side of the inequality. An existing condition ensures that wDatagramIndex is less than urb->actual length.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
