Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the
am65-cpsw driver when handling XDP (eXpress Data Path) programs. The leak occurs when the XDP program does not result in XDP PASS, causing memory allocated by am65 cpsw build skb() to be wasted. To fix this, the SKB (Socket Buffer) allocation has been moved after evaluating the XDP program result, which also results in a performance boost for XDP DROP tests.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
