Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A division by zero issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The problem occurs when there are no dummy cycles in the spi-nor commands, causing both dummy bus cycle bytes and width to be zero. To avoid a CPU warning due to division by zero, the code now returns zero, thus preventing such calculations.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
