CVE-2025-1687

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Cardealer theme for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.6.4
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing nonce validation on the update user profile function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to update user email and password via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.6.4, consider disabling the update user profile function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to areas of the site where user profiles can be updated to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Cardealer theme until a fixed version is released. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
