Description The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing Reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This enables unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages by tricking a user into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a link, via the s parameter.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.0.4, update to a version higher than 4.0.4 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the s parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
