Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the clk rcg2 clock, where a NULL pointer dereference occurs when calling
clk set rate due to a missing parent map definition. This happens when a clk rcg2 has a parent but lacks the corresponding parent map. The problem is fixed by adding the parent map property for two clocks where it was missing and un-inlining the parent data to keep it together with the matching parent map.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
