Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to an error check in the npcm video ece init() function. Specifically, when the function of find device by node() fails, it returns NULL instead of an error code. The error check logic has been modified to check for a NULL return value and set the error code to -ENODEV.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
