CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Debt.com Business in a Box plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 4.1.0
Description The Debt.com Business in a Box plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the configuration parameter of the lead form shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping allow authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the affected page. The vulnerability is triggered via the ''/api/v1/lead form'' endpoint, specifically through the configuration variable.
Recommendations Versions up to and including 4.1.0 should be updated to a newer, fixed version.
