Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Tooltip plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.0.2

Description The Tooltip plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'the tooltip' shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the affected page.

Recommendations Update The Tooltip plugin to a version newer than 1.0.2.
