| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Smanga version 3.2.7
Description
The application does not properly sanitize user input in the
mediaId parameter of the '/php/path/rescan.php' interface before it is used in a system shell command. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to inject arbitrary operating system commands, potentially leading to complete server compromise. The affected API endpoint is '/php/path/rescan.php'.Recommendations
Update to a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the '/php/path/rescan.php' interface.
