Description A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue exists in SOTESHOP version 8.3.4. This allows an attacker to execute JavaScript code in a victim’s browser by sending a malicious URL containing the id parameter to the '/adsTracker/checkAds' API endpoint. Successful exploitation could lead to the theft of sensitive user information, such as session cookies, or the performance of actions on the user’s behalf.

Recommendations Update SOTESHOP to a version that addresses this issue. As a temporary workaround, sanitize the id parameter in the '/adsTracker/checkAds' API endpoint to prevent the injection of malicious JavaScript code.
