Description
ImageMagick is software used for editing and manipulating digital images. A signed integer overflow in ImageMagick's SIXEL decoder can lead to memory corruption and denial of service when processing a specially crafted SIXEL image file. The issue happens during buffer reallocation operations where calculations with signed 32-bit integers overflow.
Recommendations
Update ImageMagick to version 7.1.2-15 or later.
Update ImageMagick to version 6.9.13-40 or later.
