Description ImageMagick is software used for editing and manipulating digital images. A stack buffer overflow can occur in the MagnifyImage function when processing a specific image with versions prior to the fixes. This is due to the use of a fixed-size stack buffer. A successful exploit could corrupt the stack.
Recommendations Update ImageMagick to version 7.1.2-16 or later. Update ImageMagick to version 6.9.13-41 or later.
