CVE-2025-68794

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/Au:S/C:C/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The iomap adjust read range() function incorrectly assumes that the position and length parameters are block-aligned. This can occur with the erofs filesystem. The incorrect calculation can cause an underflow of the length, resulting in a returned position beyond the folio. This issue affects the calculation of bytes to skip for uptodate blocks.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
