CVE-2025-71064

None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s networking subsystem related to the hns3 driver. The issue stems from inconsistent allocation sizes for hdev->htqp and kinfo->tqp when applying for resources, potentially leading to uninitialized elements within hdev->htqp during the hclgevf knic setup() function. Specifically, kinfo->num tqps can be smaller than hdev->num tqps, causing incomplete initialization. The correction involves allocating both hdev->htqp and kinfo->tqp using hdev->num tqps to ensure consistent lengths and proper initialization of all elements.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
