Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s DRM/TTM subsystem that could lead to a NULL pointer dereference when handling evicted BOs (Buffer Objects). Specifically, the issue occurs during a devcoredump operation when attempting to read the contents of all BOs, including those that have been evicted and are no longer associated with a resource. This can result in an error, with ENODATA being recorded instead of the buffer contents.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
