Description The Post SMTP plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The vulnerability is exploitable when the Post SMTP Pro plugin is also installed and its Reporting and Tracking extension is enabled. The vulnerable parameter is event type.

Recommendations Update Post SMTP to version 3.8.1 or later.
