Description
A flaw exists within the parsing of PSP files, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GIMP. User interaction is required, specifically the target must open a malicious file. The issue stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied data length before copying it into a heap-based buffer, potentially leading to code execution within the current process.
