Description
Loading a web page with unusual GPU shader code into the GPU compiler process can cause a write out-of-bounds write crash in the GPU shader compiler library. In specific scenarios where the compiler process has system privileges, this could potentially lead to further exploitation of the device. A large value used in switch statements within the GPU shader code can cause a segmentation fault in the GPU shader compiler due to an out-of-bounds write access.
