| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.25
Description
OpenClaw contains an approval-integrity bypass issue in
system.run. The rendered command text is used as the approval identity while trimming argv token whitespace, but runtime execution uses raw argv. An attacker can craft a trailing-space executable token to execute a different binary than what the approver displayed, potentially leading to unexpected command execution under the OpenClaw runtime user when they can influence command argv and reuse an approval context. The vulnerable component is the system.run function.Recommendations
Update OpenClaw to version 2026.2.25 or later.
