Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Performance Monitor plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.0.6
Description
The Performance Monitor plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Server-Side Request Forgery due to inadequate validation of the
url parameter within the '/wp-json/performance-monitor/v1/curl data' API endpoint. This allows unauthenticated attackers to initiate web requests to arbitrary locations, including internal services, utilizing protocols like Gopher. Exploitation can potentially lead to Remote Code Execution when combined with services such as Redis.Recommendations
Update the Performance Monitor plugin to a version newer than 1.0.6.
