Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Ed's Font Awesome plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.1

Description The Ed's Font Awesome plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the eds font awesome shortcode. This is a result of inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-provided attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will then execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page.

Recommendations Update the Ed's Font Awesome plugin to version 2.1 or later.
