Description
A local buffer overflow exists involving structured exception handling (SEH), which is a mechanism for handling hardware and software exceptions. A local attacker can execute arbitrary code with application privileges by crafting a malicious .plf playlist file containing shellcode and NOP sleds to overflow a buffer and hijack the SEH chain.
