Description
A stack-based buffer overflow in the P2P API service allows unauthenticated attackers within network range to overwrite the instruction pointer and achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) by sending a specially crafted HTTP request. A stack-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a buffer located on the stack than the buffer is allocated to hold, potentially corrupting adjacent memory.
