VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contained an issue in the mm/page alloc component where the migration type of page blocks was not consistently updated during page coalescing. Specifically, when a page was freed and coalesced with a buddy page, only the first page block of the buddy page had its migration type updated, leaving the remaining page blocks with an inconsistent migration type. This inconsistency could lead to warnings during operations like expand and other code paths, indicating a potential issue with page management.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
