Description The Investi plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'maximum-num-years' attribute of the 'investi-announcements-accordion' shortcode. This is caused by inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-provided shortcode attributes. The 'maximum-num-years' attribute value is directly taken from shortcode attributes and inserted into a double-quoted HTML attribute without any escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when a user accesses the injected page.

Recommendations Update the Investi plugin to a version later than 1.0.26.
