Description A gzip decompression bomb occurs when processing HTTP requests with Content-Encoding: gzip. The server does not limit decompressed size and allocates memory based on attacker-controlled compression metadata. A crafted gzip payload can cause excessive memory allocation and exhaust system memory.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
