No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the drm/amdgpu component where the immediate reuse of a Process Address Space ID (PASID) can lead to interrupt problems. This occurs when a new process is assigned a PASID previously used by a process that exited while page faults were still pending in the IH ring buffer. To resolve this, the system implements an idr cyclic allocator, similar to the one used for kernel pids, to prevent immediate reuse.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
