Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the drm/xe component where the system fails to maintain proper tracking of remap prev/next during 3D workloads. This occurs when a rebind is performed in the middle of a virtual memory area (VMA) and mapped ends are compatible, leading to the skipping of rebinds and the setting of next/prev to NULL. If an unwind path is triggered, it can result in overlapping VMAs, causing the system to enter a bad state and triggering warnings in the
vm bind ioctl ops unwind() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
